February 9, 2009 2009 E&O Program Now Available Online
Errors and Omissions coverage is essential to protect your professional and personal interests. That’s why Legacy requires Producers to have $1 million/$1 million in coverage and Wholesalers to have $1 million/$2 million in coverage. Visit LegacyNet® today for all the materials you need to renew or apply for E&O coverage in Legacy’s 2009-2010 group-sponsored program. From the Legacy Service Center, select “E&O Information" from the "Other Tools" pull-down menu. Exciting updates to our 2009-2010 E&O insurance program include:
Coverage under Legacy’s 2008-2009 group-sponsored program EXPIRES MARCH 1, 2009. Renew or apply for coverage today to avoid any delays! Producers are required to have submitted at least $25,000 in premium with Legacy in 2008 to renew in 2009. Please note: You will need additional coverage and must complete a different application if any of the following apply (contact Sheri Pontolillo at sheri@eopros.com, if you require this application):
Remember, the program covers Wholesalers for claims involving Legacy products, provided the subagent involved has E&O coverage of at least $1 million/$1 million for the claim. If you have already enrolled in an E&O program, be sure to fax your proof of coverage to Legacy Licensing and Contracting at 800-813-6095. Reminder: Under the Legacy Exclusive Program, Producers who do not purchase annual E&O coverage from Legacy or provide proof of coverage from another company will be charged a nonrefundable E&O premium of $160 per contract issued.
